2. Summary
- No cookies, no tracking, no analytics.
- No external fonts, scripts or content. Your browser only loads files from bellchain.app.
- We do not keep access logs with IP addresses.
3. Visiting the website
When you visit the website, your browser sends technically necessary data to our server: IP address, date and time, the requested address, your preferred language and the browser type. We process this data only to deliver the page and to send you to the German or English version based on your language setting.
We do not write access logs. If a technical error occurs, the web server may record the affected request, including the IP address, in an error log. This log is rotated automatically and overwritten after a short time.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is delivering the website securely and reliably. The connection is encrypted with HTTPS.
4. Hosting
Our server is located in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is operated by Vultr (The Constant Company, LLC, West Palm Beach, USA), which processes the data listed above on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR. Because Vultr is a US company, access from the United States cannot be ruled out. Transfers to the United States are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
5. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request concerns or aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, where our legitimate interest is answering your request. We delete messages once they are dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require us to keep them longer.
Our mailbox is hosted by netcup GmbH in Karlsruhe, Germany, which operates it on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). An email to hello@bellchain.app is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
7. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide us with any data. Without the technically necessary connection data, however, we cannot deliver the website. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Changes
We will update this policy when our service changes, in particular before the Bellchain app launches. The version published here applies.
