Crypto RSI alerts: oversold, overbought and the turn
The RSI shows on a scale from 0 to 100 how hard a coin has risen or fallen lately. Bellchain pings you when it crosses a threshold, say below 30, and if you like only when the trend agrees.
The RSI (Relative Strength Index) compares the gains and losses of the last 14 candles. Below 30 a market counts as oversold, above 70 as overbought. Bellchain computes it like TradingView’s Pine function, so you can check every value there on the chart of the same exchange.
An alert fires when the RSI crosses the threshold, not on every candle below it. A second node turns it into an alert with a filter: RSI below 35, but only while the price is above the EMA 200. Or report the end of the extreme instead of the extreme itself, when the RSI climbs back above 25.
RSI below or above a threshold, such as 30 and 70.
RSI crosses a threshold upwards or downwards, for the turn.
Combined with AND, for example with the trend above the EMA 200.

FAQ
Questions and answers
Which RSI settings are common?
Usually 14 candles with the levels 30 and 70. Stricter levels like 25 and 75 fire less often, on clearer extremes. You set length and threshold in the nodes; the replay shows beforehand how often the alert would have fired.
Which timeframes does it work on?
On Free on candles from 15 minutes up to one month, from Pro also on 1 and 5 minutes. The RSI is computed on the timeframe of the candle it is connected to.
Can I watch the RSI of many coins at once?
Yes, from Pro with a scanner: one chain that computes and alerts for each coin on its own, for up to 10 coins on Pro. The RSI scanner template runs across 9 common coins.
Is an RSI below 30 a buy signal?
Bellchain doesn’t judge that. It reports what you define; whether an oversold market keeps falling or turns is your call. Alerts in the replay show the past and say nothing about the future.
